The Crest of Spring

This ended up being a very meaningful photo shoot.  I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to capture the life and energy of this family.  The light bouncing around inside the orchard was elegantly creamy, as long as you could avoid the shafts of light that would sometimes break through.  I used my transparent fabric circle best I could, but it was not big enough.  Maybe next time I should take a large white bed sheet.

Fall-time Photo Shoot

This was a deceptively cold photo shoot.  But I think the energy of the kids made up for it.  Great family to work with.  Their youngest did not want to be out of his Mother's hands, so I just encourage her to go with it.  I feel that keeping the moment and environment as natural as possible is the best way to capture portraits of children.  They don't often have much of an attention span, but as a photographer,  I don't want their attention, I want to see their personality.
