Unexpected Art

I came across this photo in a rather unexpected place, and nearly skipped taking the photo.  It was one of those experiences where the subject matter was quite boring, but I knew there was more to it, I could see the potential in the mundane.  I was rather pleased with the results.

What I like about this photo is that there is motion, movement, direction, but it's very solid.  I like that it's hard to tell what it is, if it is far away, a landscape, or possibly a macro.  The sense of scale is up to the viewer.  I like that it's boring, yet intricate at the same time.  This photo is a good reminder to always stop for potential.
