This shoot with the Oliver family was fun, yet challenging due to the quick moving sun. I shot around late afternoon / early evening, and I thought I had plenty of time, but the sun was absolutley booking it to the horizion. Serioulsy, the light seemed to be constantly changing in a matter of minutes. It was like a dance with the sun. But I think that is what made it so much fun, it's like this duel with mother nature and her light, and its a total rush to wrangle it just right.

The Goforth Family

Had a nice photoshoot with the Goforth family. It was nice that I didn't have to make a complete fool of myself to get them to look at the camera. So all went well despite it being deceptively cold that day.

HALLOWEEN!

Well Halloween offered some fun costumed portraits. I thought they went well despite some low light challenges. Kind of a nice way to remember the day.

Oh, and earlier that day, I couldn't resist taking a couple of photos of some of the pumpkins we carved. Light was streaming through the window, and I found it was a nice way to light up the jack-o-lanterns sans flame.
